With rapid urbanization and population growth new cities are being developed. It deals with the development, operation and maintenance of water supply and sewerage systems, solid waste management, road networks and utility structures. It also focuses on sustainable development. Karachi is a home of approx. 25 Million masses, which requires almost 1000 MGD of Water Supply, generating some 800 GPD of Wastewater and Producer of approx. 1500 tons of Waste per day. In addition to the above 03 Municipal Services, the other day to day services which are required to keep the Karachi City Livable is Smooth Traffic Flow, Transportation networks and modes, Street Lights, Fire Fighting and Parks and Recreation.
